A Homemaker's Humidor

I was reading that in the first half of the twentieth century there was usually a Humidor "beside the husband's favourite chair." It was used to store tobacco and pipe  stands. Frequently they were lined with copper to keep tobacco fresh. I fell in love the minute Mary-Ann walked into our Paint Your Own Piece Workshop. Her Humidor is likely mahogany or walnut and had some turned spindle legs and some carvings, even in the small knob.  Mary-Ann choose Fusion Mineral Paint in Champlain and I immediately thought we should dry brush Champagne Metallic to give it dimension.

Mary-Ann successfully completed  her first Fusion Mintal Paint project. Bravo!  This little beauty will be beside  her favourite chair to place her teacup on.
